The purpose of this organization shall be to further the study of science outside the classroom; provide an environment where students can meet with students sharing an interest in robotics; provide a project-driven environment where students apply robotics to real-world problems; provide students hands-on experience in construction and experimentation with robots and participate in competitions deemed suitable and relevant to the projects being undertaken.
We are two FIRST Tech Challenge competition teams. The game challenge for this year is Rover Ruckus! We are currently in the beginning design phases of our robots. This is such a fun time, because students are being very creative to come up with ways to earn lots of points!
Our meetings will take place in Room 306. We will meet on Fridays after school until 4pm, and Monday evenings from 5-7pm. Some Mondays are dropped because of holidays, etc, so then we will meet on Tuesday evening instead.
